La Farge Schools: due to weather, athletic practices and other evening extracurricular activities are canceled for today, 2/12/2025.
FFA sponsored a penny war the last few weeks for 6-12 classes to raise money for pets injured and displaced by California wildfires. Winning the competition by bringing in 4332 pennies with deductions of only 925 resulted in a score of 3407 points was the FRESHMEN! Money raised by each class was as follows:
6th grade- $131.61
7th grade - $76.09
8th grade - 24.30
9th grade - 52.57
10th grade - 11.08
11th grade - 18.92
12th grade - 26.99
Total money raised by all classes was $341.56!
All students received ice cream sandwiches for their great work, and the freshmen earned an ice cream social!

The La Farge National Honor Society's next blood drive is next Monday, February 17th from 11:30 am to 4:30 pm at the La Farge High School Gym. There are still donations times available if you would like to donate and walk-ins are welcome. You can register for a donation slot at https://www.redcrossblood.org/ . Every donation helps earn Red Cross Scholarships for our 2025 NHS Seniors. Thank you for the continued support!
